Distinctive features

  • растения обычно жёлто-зеленые или буроватые;
  • стебель почти до верхушки с густым ржаво-бурым ризоидным войлоком;
  • листья продолговато-ланцетные, в верхушке заострённые;
  • жилка резко выделяющаяся, блестящая;
  • клетки округло-многоугольные, толстостенные с одной центральной папиллой;
  • выводковые листочки собраны в шаровидные головки на верхушках стерильных побегов и расставленно сидят ниже.
