Hints and notes
  • You can search by both Latin and Russian names.
  • A search pattern can be a word, part of it, or a compound name (in several words).
  • When searching by a compound Latin name (for example, "Betula pendula carelica"), the query settings are ignored. The first word of the sample is considered as the full genus name, the second as a specific epithet, the third and fourth (if any) as the names of subspecies ranks. The last part of the compound name may be incomplete.
  • The search is performed in a case-insensitive manner.
  • When searching for Russian names, the letters "Е" and "Ё" do not differ.
  • To reduce the number of found names, adjust the search parameters on the left panel of the page.
